My almost four year old loves to look pretty, and pretty usually includes some kind of dress, skirt or other flowing attire. My almost four year old also loves to play, she loves to twirl and spin, roll around in grass and is just learning the art of tree climbing. This same girl is also learning about modesty, when changing she now likes to have "privacy from boys." Of course this modest streak comes and goes, one minute happy to run through a sprinkler in the buff and the next all concern. So reconciling beautiful gowns, somersaults and modesty was a task indeed.
Amoretti Designs has risen to the challenge and come up with something that unites all three once and for all (drum roll please). The skirty, and I would have to agree, it is indeed a very necessary underlayer for girls. In fact after receiving one to review I realized we need at least one more on hand to wear while the original is in the wash, so I bought another. Not only is the skirty comfortable and modest, but it is most adorable. Providence has no second thoughts about plowing right in for some first rate somersaults, nor about rolling around on the floor for some giggles.Buy it: You can purchase a skirty directly through Amoretti Designs, because I know there is at least one young lady in your life that needs one.
Win it: To enter to win a skirty you need to discover how many children Rebekah, founder of Ameretti, has and leave us a comment with your answer. If you do not blog, or your blog is private please leave a valid email address where you can be reached. This is on the honor system, please find the answer on your own before looking through comments. And while you're searching for the number of children, you should check out all the dresses they're wearing, don't you just wish you had one for your little lady? Well, Ameretti Designs will be launching a new dress line in Spring 2009. You're gonna need to bookmark them so you can check back then.
More Entries: For a second entry you can blog about this giveaway linking back to Simple and Ameretti Designs and then leave a second comment with the URL address of your post.
Giveaway ends August 6th, 2008 - This giveaway is part of spectacular bloggy giveaway carnival and will also be submitted to Prizey Fetch

I think the Skirty is a very cute idea, but I LOVE the clothing! Can't wait for that line to come out, and only hope it's somewhat affordable (keeping in mind that most of my little one's clothes come from Target or from sales at Gap...I am NOT spending $50 - $100 on a dress she will stain in no time at all).
