Brrrr! Baby it's cold outside!

It's perfect timing for this awesome giveaway! I had the opportunity to review what is now my favorite throw; a HeatComfort Antistatic Throw from Land's End, and what's even better is, they are giving one away!

heatcomfort
This Size 48"W x 66"L blanket/throw has a special finish that disperses the build up of static. It has 11 warmth settings, preheats, and has a 10-hour automatic shut-off. The wires within this thing are TINY! You can barely feel them, which I wasn't expecting. I was also surprised that the cord was long enough to reach my couch; since my furniture is not against the wall like in most homes. It's warm and snuggly without being "hot" and the blanket itself is super cozy and soft. It is a perfect addition to my living room, since we have an entire wall of windows that makes it quite chilly in here!

Using their heat comfort products can save you up to 10% a year on heating and energy bills! I really want one for my king size bed as well.

Buy it: Lands End

Win it: Leave a detailed comment here telling us what your favorite HeatComfort product is! They have full size blankets as well, go check them out at Lands End. Be sure and leave your email address, otherwise your comment will be deleted. The Winner will receive a heated throw.

Contest closes on midnight, December 31, 2008.
Winner to be announced on January 1, 2009!

  1. The mattress pad is tempting, but I like the idea of sitting under the throw while I watch tv or read in the evening. I'm always so cold!

  2. I am really loving the Antistatic HeatComfort Blanket the Queen size -really like the ability to choose from 11 different settings AND the extra bonus is that it has dual controls. I can have it at one temperature while my husband can have it at what he wants.

  3. I love the concept of a HeatComfort Mattress Pad so the sheets are warm when you climb under the covers... how luxurious! The dual controls on the Antistatic HeatComfort Blanket are really smart, too, since my husband and I can never agree on the right temperature. I'd love to win that in King, graphite.

  5. While I love the idea of the HeatComfort throw to snuggle in during these cold winter days, my husband says we definitely need the HeatComfort blanket in King size. A heat control for him and a separate control for me would be perfect as he tends to need more heat than I do. What a luxurious thought on a cold, snowy day like today. Cozy and plush!

  41. The AntiStatic HeatComfort Throw would save me from a lot of pain in the cooler weather. I have psoriatic arthritis in every joint, but my knees and having this to lay on and wrap around my legs and hips would be AWESOME!

I also like the fact that it doesn't get hot hot because my arthritis is much like rheumatoid in that its an inflamatory one and too much heat makes me swell!

    What an awesome giveway!

    Thanks

  151. I would have to say that the Antistatic HeatComfort Blanket (in a queen size...cappuccino color so my cat's not-so-occasional flying/sticking fur would blend in a bit) would be a dream come true ;)...sigh, the settings...the fact that hubby could crank his to high and I could keep mine at about a 3 (just enough to knock off the chill) sounds HEAVENLY! Also the fact that it claims that the elements are 1/4 the size of most would be great for my "princess & the pea" daughter who likes to nap in my bed! (seriously if there is a large wrinkle in the FITTED SHEET she cannot get to sleep). Seeings how the queen size is still pushing 200 bucks, I would be ECSTATIC (yet still antistatic...har har har) about getting the throw! We love snuggle time on the couch too! Thanks so much for such a great giveaway!

  152. At the moment, my favorite is a heavy crochet throw that my Mom made for me. It weighs about 5 lbs. and is so warm.
My friend got one of the great HeatComfort Mattress Pad and loves it. She called me today to tell me how amazing it was to get into bed and feel warm sheets. Now, that would be nice.
We had snow last week and I had the AC on today so it's not cold outside right now.
    Thanks for the warm giveaway.

  165. One of the many reasons I like the mattress pad is because the Queen, King have dual controls for adjusting comfort on each side of the bed. This is great for a couple like my husband and I.

  166. I would love the HeatComfort Water & Stain Resistant Mattress Pad - in the winter - even with the heat on, getting into bed can be a freezing time! The sheets are chilly! This would be great to warm the bed up before we get in.

  169. I'd love the throw, but I really think the HeatComfort mattress pad would be awesome. I hate climbing into a cold bed at night and with the mattrass pad I could turn it on before I start getting ready for bed... no more cold toes!

  183. I like the Antistatic HeatComfort Blanket. We heat our home with only our fireplace since the old floor furnace is, well, old and scary. It works well for the livingroom, but the bedrooms are freezing! Heated blankets are a necessity here and to have a really nice one would be awesome! The throw would be great too since our kitchen and computer area are a bit frosty! Thanks for the giveaway!

  184. i like the idea of the heat throw. the fact that it will help you save on electric bills by being able to turn down thermostat.

  185. I love the dual controls on the queen size blanket. I'm always cold & my husbands not so this would be great.
