Pillsbury has revealed their new refrigerated cookies called SIMPLY..... and they are the perfect solution! The cookies' ingredients are the same homemade ingredients that you would use in your kitchen... yes, you can read the label:) They are made from flour, eggs, brown sugar, semisweet chocolates, oil and vanilla... sounds familiar doesn't it!!! Check out what ingredients these cookies are missing.
Through MyBlogSpark, my husband and I sampled the Chocolate Chip Cookie from Pillsbury SIMPLY... !!! First, I love the convenience of refrigerated cookies, especially for an adult late night snack:) Second, I was impressed that the labels were readable and matched my ingredient lists. Finally, we were both delighted with the taste. They were delicious and tasted homemade:)
TRY YOUR OWN!! Pillsbury SIMPLY...TM can be purchased at many grocery stores in the refrigerated dough section. And come in both Chocolate Chip and Peanut Butter. Pillsbury is offering a $1.25 off coupon available here.
WIN YOUR OWN!! MyBlogSpark is giving away a prize pack to one a SIMPLE reader. The pack includes a coupon for a free Pillsbury SIMPLY....TM pack of refrigerated cookies, cute little cookie jar and SIMPLY... canvas tote bag.

Simplicity is in the form of shutting down the TV and reading instead. Or sleeping in sometimes and keeping our to do list for a day down to 6 items or less...
ReplyDeletejanemaritz at yahoo dot com
Simplicity, with twin preschool boys? Ayayayaya. Of course, it starts with setting our their clothes for school and packing their lunches the night before. Later in the day, simplicity would be popping in some easy, but not crap-ridden, ready-made cooked bits into the oven for mom-and-kids snack. Thank you for getting the word out. In the current economy, I've given up organic, but I do read labels. I'll be checking out the new Pillsbury cookies! (curious what the "oil" is...why not butter?)
ReplyDeleteI usually buy my lunches for the week in advance.

ReplyDeleteI am all about simplicity. I can't stand chaos and confusion. I have a three-year-old, a two-year-old, and a one-year-old, and I stay at home with them. Our motto is "take it easy" because that whole driven, ambitious way of doing things turns me off. I equate happiness with inner peace, so I try to teach my kids to follow their inner voice instead of following the dictates of society.

I'm a big one for simpicity of lifestyle!! I can't stand feeling unorganized, chaotic and out of control. I think one of my most important ways to add simplicity to my life is avoiding or keeping under control CLUTTER - whether it is material clutter, or activity clutter (too many obligations), etc.
Everyday I just kind of step back, look things over, and pare things down where I need to. It's so easy to become way overwhelmed with our busy, stressful modern life and I find if I keep my home and obligations tidy, then I feel better :)

ReplyDeleteSimplicity is key in my world - no iron clothing, do the bulk of my cooking in one day for the week so all I have to do is throw it in the oven, crock pot, etc., clean as I go so the house stays presentable...
ReplyDeleteI've added simplicity to my life by saying no.
ReplyDeleteI use a lot of pre-packaged foods from the dollar store - makes quick meals a snap!!

ReplyDeleteI add simplicty by delegating. No one person can do everything, so each of my kids has their own responsibilities and we all reap the benefits.
ReplyDeleteI keep it simple by sticking to a routine. Every day is like the rest and that keeps my kids on track and everything moving smoothly. It maybe boring but it is also peaceful and efficient

ReplyDeleteI add "simplicty" to my daily life by doing most, if not all, of my shopping and errands between work and home. That way I'm not driving hither and yon and back again. I do my banking, dry cleaning, etc. with businesses on or near my route -- it makes it so much easier!

I try to simplify my life by being more efficient and organized. For example, when I have to dice veggies for a dish, I always dice more than I need and freeze the extras. That way, when I need diced veggies again, I just pull them out the freezer. I also take the initial time to organize my bathroom, bedroom, and laundry room. The initial time it takes to do this is worth the time saved in looking for everyday items!
