I received "Photographing Children Photo Workshop: Develop Your Digital Photography Talent" from the co-author, Allison Tyler Jones. The book is written so straight forward and is very easy to follow. I highly recommend this book to anyone that wants to take better pictures of your children and other loved ones. I think it is great for the person just looking to capture the everyday moments with their children to the experienced photographer! This books is full of ideas and suggestions!
One thing I really like about the book was the "tutorial" aspect of it. The pictures that are featured in the book have descriptions on how they were taken. That is such a great tool to use when just learning how to take great pictures...or even for ideas on how to make the pictures you take better!

It seems to be if you let the kids be themselves and just have fun with it you get better pics! I'd love to learn more from her.
ReplyDeleteI love how much fun each shot is! Even the posed ones seem to have this childish giggly feel to it. Her work is inspiring and makes me want to go grab my nieces and get to work!
ReplyDeleteI like the group shot where everybody's holding a framed photo in front of their faces. Would be cute to do with kids, too, holding pics of themselves.
