Whole Wheat Applesauce Muffins

---------------------------
Whole Wheat Applesauce Muffins
---------------------------
1/2 c. oil
3/4 c. brown sugar or 3 tsp. Sweet n' Low
1 c. applesauce
1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
2/3 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. raisins

Directions:
Cream oil and sugar together; mix in applesauce and soda. If using Sweet n' Low, mix oil, Sweet n' Low, applesauce and soda together. Mix flour, cinnamon, pecans and raisins in another bowl, then add to the applesauce mixture. Oil and flour muffin tin and pour batter in. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.

We like to use 1 tsp of liquid stevia instead of brown sugar or sweet n' low, and leave out the pecans and raisins. They make for a very yummy breakfast or you can whip up some fresh cream to dab on top for a delicious dessert that you won't mind the kids having seconds of.

  1. How much applesauce do you need for this recipe?

I don't see it mentioned in the ingredients or the instructions.
