it's a 10 :: a perfect 10 every time! {giveaway}

I was beyond thrilled when It’s A 10 agreed to partner with SIMPLE. A few months ago, I read about their Miracle Leave-In treatment on a friend’s blog. She couldn’t say enough good things about it, but what intrigued me the most is that she said it actually did the things it promised - all ten:

My hair is curly in some places and wavy in others. It gets oily at the roots and frizzes in humidity. I blow it out every day to tame cowlicks and use large hot rollers and a flat iron to smooth and straighten. My hair was begging me for this stuff!

The goal of It’s A 10 (which, as an aside, is endorsed by The Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics for their cruelty-free products) is to provide salons with a haircare line that emphasizes quality over quantity. Why use 10 different products when one multi-tasking spray can do it all? I couldn’t agree more! My bathroom is filled with a myriad of serums, leave-ins, and spritzes pieced together from different manufacturers - all of them promising to add shine, smooth, straighten, or protect my hair from heat. But none of them do it ALL - until now!

I was given the opportunity to test several items from the It’s A Ten line, and each of them exceeded my expectations. While the Miracle Moisture Sulfate-Free Shampoo (so gentle on my over-worked hair!) and Miracle Hair Mask (aaaah, moisture!) were stand-outs, I can narrow my absolute favorites down to two: the new Miracle Leave-in Plus Keratin (keratin is they key structural protein in skin, hair, and nails), and the Miracle Shine Spray. The new leave-in treatment lacks nothing when compared to the original, but it does boast additional protection for hair exposed to intense heat and straightening, like mine. It also smells delicious. I spray it on my hair after washing but before blow-drying. When it’s time for the flat iron, I spritz the Miracle Shine Spray on each section of hair. The shine spray protects from the heat, locks in moisture, and gives my hair a weightless, non-sticky shine - love it!

If your bathroom cabinets are like mine, full of half-used bottles of mediocre hair care products, I highly recommend It’s A 10 - your hair will thank you!
