Lightwedge

I love, love, love to read. You know I read blogs, I enjoy flipping through magazines, but my favorite thing to do is curl up with a good book.

I love long car rides just so I can sit shotgun and dive into a long novel. If I had my choice, I would go to bed super early every night so I could read for a few hours.

My problem is that when I'm trying to read in bed, my bedside light is just too bright and my husband wants me to turn it off. Additionally, my problem with reading in the car comes around 7:30 when the sun goes down and darkness falls over the vehicle. I could turn the overhead light on, but typical the driver of my car won't allow that.

Lightwedge solves all my late night reading. With the Lightwedge, I can read in bed and in the car without annoying anyone else. With a quick lay of the acrylic lens on the page, light spreads evenly over the text...so only the reader can see the light.

The lightwedge is one of those little "why didn't I think of that" ideas that has made my life, well, simpler. It comes in 2 sizes, the original (for hardcovers and trade paperbacks, $34.95) and the paperback (designed for mass-market paperbacks, $24.95). It takes 4 AAA batteries and provides 40 hours of light.

With holiday travels looming right around the corner, this is one item I will not be forgetting to throw in my carry on.

A Simple Coupon! Lightwedge can be purchased on their retail Web site, Bigger and Brighter. Use the coupon code BRIGHTER2 and receive 15% off your total purchase. Additionally, they offer free shipping with every order over $30.
