This year Baby Einstein turns 10 years old! While not so much a baby itself anymore, the Baby Einstein brand has held it's own over the past decade.Admittedly, 10 years ago, bringing up babies were the farthest thing from my to-do list. But fast forward a decade, and now I'm a momma (of two little girls) who couldn't imagine bringing up baby in a world without Baby Einstein. One of my fondest memories of being pregnant was registering for baby gear, and you better believe that included MANY, many Baby Einstein items.
What makes Baby Einstein so special? Well, first off it was created by a mom. Julie Clark wanted to create toys for her daughter that would engage both of them together. Toys that would stimulate, teach, and were safe and fun to play with. All Baby Einstein toys are created from a baby's point-of-view which is simple and brilliant all at the same time.
Just in time for the gifting season, Baby Einstein is in the mood to celebrate. They have recently launched a 10th Anniversary Special Edition DVD of Baby Mozart! These videos are fantastic because although watching a video is a relaxing activity, the videos have so much learning, meaningful interaction, and real life images for your baby (perfect for downtime during the busy holiday season).In addition to their fantastic library of videos, we are huge fans of their books and toys as well. Top of the list, the Touch & Feel Board Book and Baby Einstein Classics Lullaby CD (just to name a few).
So whether you are a new mom or have a special new little someone on your Christmas list, Baby Einstein has something for you this holiday season.
