I lost all my digital pictures when our computer's hard drive crash. I have no pictures of my daughters birth, her first birthday or Christmas.
Ok, confession - that has never happened to me....yet. But did I make you jump? Did you feel my pain just for a very second? Can you even imagine if you lost all your digital photos?
Loosing my family pictures is what nightmares are made out of. There are very few worldly possessions that rank higher than my photos. I cherish them with all my heart.
It's time to treat my pictures with the respect that they deserve. Picture Keeper is a handy-dandy little drive that you insert into any USB port on your computer. The Picture Keeper automatically finds your pictures on your computer - up to 16GB's worth (around 16,000 pictures with the largest size, $59.99), and copies them onto the Picture Keeper.
Since there is nothing to download onto your computer (all the software is on the Picture Keeper stick instead), it's possible to easily add images from multiple computers (or a digital photo frame).
I love the idea of the Picture Keeper and have loaded all my photos on it. For now, I'll throw the small little USB device loaded up with all my photos into my fire proof safe. In a few months, I'll haul it back out to run an update!
GET YOUR OWN (with a coupon)! Picture Keeper comes in 2 sizes, 4GB ($29.99) and 8GB ($39.99). Enter blogger10 at checkout to save 10% off your total purchase!
WIN YOUR OWN! Picture Keeper wants to help you save your pictures safely and securely. Up for grabs is a Picture Keeper, in the size of your choice, based on how many images you need to backup. To be entered, visit the Picture Keeper site and run the free tutorial to find out how big your photo files are. Come back here and let us know what size you need and why this tool would be helpful to you.
Winner will be chosen at random and notified on June 11th, 2009.
I probably need more than one.......I have over 10,000 images on my iMac. My granddaughter is 2 1/2 and I've been photographing her since she was born....I would be devastated if I lost all of those memories. I'd love to win this....
ReplyDeleteI probably need more than one.......I have over 10,000 images on my iMac. My granddaughter is 2 1/2 and I've been photographing her since she was born....I would be devastated if I lost all of those memories. I'd love to win this....
ReplyDelete17.9 GB WE LOVE to take pictures and I would love to win this!!
ReplyDeletewow, I love it
ReplyDelete2.05 gigabyte on mine!
ReplyDelete4.7GB, so probably the 8GB drive. While in graduate school I had the thrill of having a hard drive crash and lost all of my grades for the semester the week before finals. I had to pay excessive amounts of money to have my files restored. Something I never want to experience again! Now I have two beautiful little girls and wouldn't want to lose their pictures!
ReplyDeleteI am pretty good at taking printouts and making scrapbooks. Still I need 8 GB hard drive.
ReplyDeleteMy images are huge. I NEEEEED that 8 gb!!
ReplyDeleteI just got this computer a month ago and I already have 3. I did lose lots of my pictures on my last computer when it crashed! So this would be great. I would love to win the 8 GB.

My file size is 222KB so I have no idea if this is more or less than 3.00 GB. I probably will need the larger one. I have soo many pics on there it would be terrific to save them on something.

I only have 725 MB...this is sad =D
ReplyDeleteIt would be great to keep all my photos safe!
Thanks a lot.
I take soooo many pictures people laugh at me. However when I send them pictures they are grateful that I took so many. This would truely help us keep my pictures preserved!!
ReplyDeleteIt is all about taking pictures of my kids. I really need to back them up. I have 5gb already.
ReplyDeleteHaaaa~ I currently have 32.4GB in my Pictures file, but that includes some videos. Still exceeds the max of 8GB. LoL. I could use one of these to keep my drawings and art school homework on. It'd probably be considerably less than 8GB worth of info as of now.
ReplyDeleteI require the 4 GB. I don't keep a whole lot of photos, the ones I do matter.
ReplyDeleteI currently have 12.6 MB of photos on my computer, so I definitely need hte 8 GB picture holder!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the giveaway :)

ReplyDeleteI love taking pictures of my 3 kids. Their ages are 18 months to 6 yrs old. I'm always taking pics and have actually lost some on my computer. This would be so awesome for my pictures!
beaniebaby_19 AT HOTMAIL Dot Com
We have them all on the same 2GB SD card we originally bought so a 4GB would probably be good. I don't have any stored on my pc. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a camera, so this would be for my son. He's the photographer in the family and could use one. Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteIt says I need the 4GB size. This is a great idea! Thanks!

ReplyDeleteI would definitely need the 8GB one--not just because of the pictures we already have, but because I know that more will come, especially of the newest grandchild!
ReplyDeleteclynsg at yahoo.com
I need the 8 MB --- this product would be very helpful to me because it would be a safe place to store photos and it would open space up on my computer. I used to delete files after they were printed to make room on my computer. Now I realize that I don't like that idea and have been storing all pictures on my computer thus taking up a huge amount of space!!! Thanks for the great giveaway:)
ReplyDeleteI need 5.3 GB. Truth be told, almost every picture is already backed up on a different hard drive, but finding the ones I need can get difficult with that method. This is such a convenient little tool!

ReplyDeleteThis compulsive photo-taker needs an 8 GB...a great file storage idea!
ReplyDeleteOh--definitely the 8GB! Probably two or three of them....I'm photo obsessed. And, yes, the comp crash thing is very scary--it happened to me, so I have felt that dread tightening around my heard firsthand. Luckily, I had already printed off all my daughter's newborn pics and her first X-mas and had saved many of them on online galleries and other devices. I then paid $1,200 and send my computer halfway across the country to have it restored. They managed to recover most stuff from my hard drive, but I lost about a month's worth of photos--and all of my daughter's birth video and (sigh--the tears are welling now!) the video montage my husband made of her first months for my first Mother's Day! (He had spent hours on it, taking video clips and adding music and special effects. It was so precious--and I will never get it back.) Since then, I take every precaution--I download onto various portable hard drives, burn CDs (and I leave a copy in my safe deposit box) and print pics like an insane person.
ReplyDeleteWould love to win this!
