I knew the time had come - time to get a double stroller. Believe me, I understood what a major investment a double stroller was. I did my extensive research and then some. I combed the isles of baby stores, read more online reviews than I could count. My criteria was specific - I wanted a stroller that would be versatile, be of high quality, easy to maneuver and let's face it, I wouldn't mind if it looked good.
When my research was complete, it lead me right to
~weighs 34 lbs
~ 5 point adjustable safety harnesses
~multi-adjustable handle (fantastic for short mama's and tall papa's)
~front wheel lock( great for light jogs and rugged terrain)
~huge storage basket down below to carry all sorts of gear
~easy one step braking system
The stroller arrived in one big box but fortunately in only a few pieces; and was a snap to assemble. Once put together in one piece, we just had to take it out and go for a test ride. Since we were dealing with sub zero conditions, we headed for the mall.
The Bumbleride Indie Twin (aside from being a serious head turner, coming in 5 urban chic colors) is fantastic when it comes to crowds and cramped spaces. Unlike many double side-by-side strollers, this stroller has no problem fitting through a standard door because of it's slender width of 29.5". And let's just talk maneuvering for a minute. This stroller turns on a dime - serious. I am completely amazed and in awe of how well it steers that I just need to show you:
Probably my favorite feature of the this Bumbleride model is that it is designed to accommodate both an infant and older sibling at the same time. With adjustable footrest, backrest, sun canopies and bumpers, it's a comfortable and fun ride of all. I love that my older daughter can be snacking enjoying the view as my younger daughter is flat on her back taking a nap - it's brilliant!
We live a very active lifestyle, and this stroller is essential to us for getting out and enjoying life as a family. From city sidewalk strolls to off-the-beaten path bumpy rides, we love our Indie Twin! Quality counts, and you definetly get what you pay for with the Bumbleride.

The Indie Twin would be great for my two little ones.
ReplyDeleteI like the way the Queen B converts into a traditional pram style--very classic and nice for infants.
I love the Queen B. I love how baby can face mama like in an old-fashioned pram. It also has a great hood and basket!
ReplyDeleteLove it ..It very nice...My Daughter is Due in May and it would be great for both of her boys..
ReplyDeleteIndie Seagrass color
ReplyDeletei like the big front wheel it looks rugged and easy to get up on the curbs. some of those small double wheels get all turned around going up a curb...ahh. thanx
I like the flyer in ruby. I'm very klutzy and I feel that 4 wheels would be better stabilization then three.
ReplyDeleteI love the Bumbleride Indie Twin in Seagrass. It looks like a great stroller and with 4 little oens....I am always looking for a good double stroller!! Thanks!
ReplyDeletempzpowell @ sbcglobal.net
I love the Indie. It is ready for any terrain and it weighs about 20 lbs.
ReplyDeleteI like the simplicity and sturdiness of the Indie. The Seagrass color is just beautiful and I love all of the accessories that Bumbleride offers!
ReplyDeletethe button is up on my blog, too!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving that Indie. I love the orange color!! How stylish.
ReplyDeleteI like the Indie Twin, mainly because it will fit both of my boys and that's the most important thing! But it's also got all the bells and whistles of the single strollers too which is great! Most double strollers are so ugly and awkward!
ReplyDeleteBlogged! http://themommyrambles.blogspot.com/2009/03/win-bumbleride-indie-twin.html
ReplyDeleteI love the Indie twin! Wew are hoping to add another child soon so it would be great! Ohhh, but isnt the Quueen B soooo cute too!

ReplyDeleteLove the Indie in Seagrass. Looking for a top-notch jogger and I think this is it. Safety is a big factor and this one passes!

I really like the Indie Twin in Heather. This would be perfect for my daughter, as she is in the process of adopting two little girls, age 1 and 3. They are sisters and the older one is physically challenged.

ReplyDeleteI blogged about your giveaway here...http://knitfrogrepeat.wordpress.com

I love the Indie Twin, especially in orange...
ReplyDeleteI currently have an old, used Flyer that I LOVE. Partly because it's orange but mostly because it's functionality rocks! My best friend and I have babies the same age. Right now we are stuck at home if we are watching each others little one. If I had the Indie Twin I could shop and take walks with the kids.

I like the Indie Twin. I have been looking at double strollers as I am due with number 2 in September. This looks like a great option!
ReplyDeleteI added a button to my blog!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to own such a versatile stroller--with an 8 month old and a 3 year old, it would be fantastic to have a stroller that allows us to get out and about the way we'd like.

I like the Indie Twin in Seagrass. I'm short so the adjustable handle is appealing. I also think the adjustable canopy and footrests are a great idea.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win the Indie Twin in Seabass. My 2nd is due May 1st and my oldest will be 2.

ReplyDeleteI ~LOVE~ the Queen B.

ReplyDeleteI love the Indie Twin!! Would be so handy, MUCH better than 2 umbrella strollers strapped together!. I think I like Lava color best.
ReplyDeleteI like the Indie Twin in Seagrass. It would be great for a friend who has 2 little ones really close in age!
ReplyDeleteAdded the button to my blog!
ReplyDeleteI think the "Indie" looks sweet! I really dig the colors (orange and blue) and like the larger wheels and sturdy frame. Living in an old neighborhood, I would be elated to push around a stroller with those large wheels and sturdy frame. I was also impressed with the list of standard accessories. So many strollers lack these options!
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway! I know my wife and I would love something like the Indie Twin Stroller.

ReplyDeleteGreat contest...Crossing my fingers
I LOVE the Bumbleride Indie. As a tall woman, the adjustable handle height is incredible. I also love how the rear wheels have the quick release button and the entire stroller folds so flatly. Practical, quality stroller with lots of style! Perfect.

ReplyDeletejennifer.lleras@gmail.com
the Indie in Indy - all the way! The standard accessories are pretty cool - and then you see all those stylish optional accessories - it's enough to make you drool!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds a lot easier to maneuver than the current side-by-side I have - and a travel bag to boot!

ReplyDeleteThanks,
Heather
love the queen b- this could be so amazing when you have two little ones and they can both sit
ReplyDeleteThe Indie twin in Seagrass is amazing!
ReplyDeleteIt would have to be the Indie Twin. I wasn't sure about the style and it's working with a carseat carrier, but it comes with an adaptor!! Perfect!! It just doesnt' seem as "massive" as your traditional 2 seater!
ReplyDeleteThe indie twin looks awesome and now that I have two kids this would be perfect. I really like the adjustable handle height as I am short and my husband is very tall. I also like how you can put a carseat in it with an adapter. The colors are great too!
ReplyDeleteI added the Simple button to my blog!
ReplyDeleteLuv the Indie "Seagrass" great looking both in color and style. And all the accessories are over the top for your and your little! Would be great for our walks to the park and even better for our trip to Disneyland.

ReplyDeleteI love the Flyer, but they're all beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe Indie Twin would be GREAT for me. I also follow you on Google. Thanks
ReplyDeletecarrieallen84@hotmail.com
The Indie Twin would be awesome for my little twinnies and it comes in such fab colors! My favorite is Ruby. I also love how their stollers look very modern but still manage to maintain an old school kind of charm and class- not easy to do! Kudos to the designers.
ReplyDeletethe flyer vita in pink is my fave.
ReplyDeletethanks !!
The Indie Twin is definitely my favorite, because it would hold the kiddos so that I could go for a run! I love the color choices, too! Seagrass or Spice are my favorite colors, but my volcano loving daughter would insist on Lava (even in the CA sun!

I liked the looks of the Flyer! They look like quality strollers! m04taes(at)verizon(dot)net
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE the Indytwin! All of the colours are wonderfull too! These are definately well-made, versatile, and they LOOK GOOD TOO!
ReplyDeleteAll of them are so great, but the Indie Twin stands out from many of the other double strollers I have seen. It seems easy to use and looks great!
ReplyDeleteI really like the indie twin as well. I love the slender fit so it is easier to get around! We have a 2 1/2 and 12 month old and right now only one good stroller so my oldest has a lame umbrella stroller to use! :(
ReplyDeleteI added your button! http://babylovingmama.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteThis would be great for my brother and sister-in-law. They are expecting their third child any minute! I would love to be able to give them something like this. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the Indie Twin in Ruby. I have a 2-year-old and a 12-week-old and could definitely use a great double stroller to push them both around in and this one looks like one of the best!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
xpsundell(at)gmail(dot)com
I love the indie. Love the front wheel and the modern look of it all. My hubby would not mind pushing this around too.
ReplyDeleteIt looks great. Would love to win
ReplyDeleteidreesor(at)abnorth(dot)com
I have the single version of this stroller and love everything about it. The locking front wheel works great when I jog. I also love that it comes with so many accessories. I'd love to win this double one for my friend who is expecting twins!
ReplyDeleteI like the Indie because of the lightweight, anodized aluminum frame construction, weighing only 20 lbs!

ReplyDeleteThe Queen Bee is my favorite. I like the pram-like features
ReplyDeletegkstratos@yahoo.com
I love the Indie Twin model since I just had my second baby this past September. I have a side by side stroller right now, but it doesn't have wheels that turn very well so I have to make very wide turns. I love the swivel wheels on the Indie Twin and I would love it in the color, Lava!
ReplyDeleteblelmer22@yahoo.com
I also added your button!
ReplyDeleteI love that Indie Twin - I'm a babywearer, too, but the more kids, the harder it gets! ;-) Especially when the next oldest up from the baby is technically old enough to walk but letting him walk turns a quick trip to the mall into a 2 or 3 hour odyssey!!
ReplyDeleteA close second choice for me would be the Flyer - even lighter than the Indie, although not as versitile, I would think - I like the wheels on the Indie for different surfaces. Also, I'd still have to make at least one of the littlest kids walk ;-)
I actually love the idie stollers. Both of them. Love how they look.
ReplyDeletebrewerchickey78(at)yahoo.com
the indi twin is my favorite model because it is perfect for my 2 girls. this is a great giveaway- i hope i'm lucky!

ReplyDeleteI love the Queen B because of the toddler seat.
ReplyDeletekoch13 at yahoo dot com
What a giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI like the Queen B for its pram functionality for a little, little baby.
I really like the Indie Twin in Ruby best because my sister has twins. Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteMy fave is the indie in seagrass, but seriously how do I choose. They are all fabulous and I LOVE the colors!
ReplyDeleteI've been eyeing the Indie Twin for some time now. With 3 kids, the oldest being only 3.5, we have many occasions to use a double stroller and our junky one is getting harder and harder to use.
ReplyDeleteWhen I get a new double THIS is the one I have chosen, but I don't have the spare money in the meantime to get my dream stroller :)
I love the way this one maneuvers, the way the handlebar adjusts (I am short, and this is a must for me!), the large basket, the quality. It is the perfect stroller that just didn't exist when I was in the market before, or I would have found the money somehow!
Kudos to Bumbleride for finally making a fantastic double stroller that is so easy to push.
The indie looks like it would work very well on our dirt road for walks to and from grandma's house. Maybe we could even off-road it with those big tires! As far as a color- they are all too much fun!
ReplyDeleteI would say my favorite is the Indie Twin that you showcased. It would be great for my two kids while out and about and then I can keep the little one in the baby carrier, however I could put her/him in it as well.
ReplyDeleteI also like the regular Indie because of the one tire in front, easy to get around.
Thank you for the chance. This is awesome.

the indie twin is classic
ReplyDeleteThe Queen B is my fave.
ReplyDeleteI love the colors, my favorite is seagrass. I love that the indie twin has swivel wheels that can be locked, my current jogging stroller has only a locked front wheel so it can be hard to manuever in some places.

I would love to own a Bumbleride, I have to admit the Queen B is my favorite, but I love the Indie Twin also. I could use a double stroller. I do daycare,I watch a 7 month old baby and one of my mommies is expecting any day. Whoo!! in about 6 or 8 weeks I will have two wee ones. We love to take walks.
ReplyDeleteThe Indie Twin in Seagrass is my favorite! It would be so awesome to assist in my weight-loss efforts by being able to walk with both of my kids. My old double stroller is so awful and this one looks light and easy to use!

I would love to have any of the Bumblerides...but probably Queen Bee is my favorite stylewise. Love the idea of the optional toddler seat. My toddler likes walking, but often tires out quickly. It would be nice to have a spot for the little one AND him.
ReplyDeletejonandjules@hotmail.com
Seriously, I have been DROOLING over the Indie Twin ever since I had my second child. I have a 22 month old and 10 month old. The older one has delays and isn't walking well yet. I'd love to have this and I love that he can take a nap and lay back in it. Thank you so much for the opportunity.

ReplyDeleteMy Favorite is the Indie Twin in Spice. I have two small granddaughters that I need a stroller for. I like the Orange color because we live way out in the boonies where orange is a signal for hunters not to shoot at you.
I love that this could be used for my son and his soon to be sister or brother!
ReplyDeleteI would love the Indie Twin for my twin boys. The wheels and size look great compared to other double strollers!
ReplyDeleteI like the Queen B the best because it has the four big wheels for comfort and steerability and it definately looks well built. I also like how you can switch the direction your child faces. It's also nice that it comes with so many standard features unlike a lot of strollers. Unfortunately, I love that bright orange and green colour, but it's not available on the Queen B. I'd go with the red though because I really love bright cheery colours.
ReplyDeletestevenleary@hotmail.com
The Indie Twin is my current dream stroller. With baby number 3 coming in June, it is the perfect answer. My 3-year old can be strapped in, as well as my newborn in her carseat. Side-by-side! Dreamy. Ruby is my favorite color!!

I really like the idea of the Queen B, because of the pram conversion thing. I love the idea of taking around a lying down baby, since I never have. They all look great!
ReplyDeleteThe Indie twin in lava would be my pick. I love at the multi-adjustable handle that can extend from 32-45" high. That way it can be comfortable for my husband to use (he is much taller than me). The accessories available are great too, especially the carry cot
ReplyDeleteI would love the Indie Twin in Lava! With an 19 month old a new baby coming in a couple of months, this would be perfect for me!
ReplyDeleteI really like the flyer, the bar across the front would be perfect to hook a toy to. When I was looking to buy a stroller in our area I could not find one that the bar would move to the front so that I would face my daughter and this one does, awesome. Also, it is the size of an umbrella stroller with the accessories of a luxury stroller!!
