Chicks-N-Chickens {Lullaby Exercises}

Do you have a baby, a toddler, or even older kids and still feel in that "after baby slump"? Do you still have to lay down on the bed to get those "favorite" jeans on? Or do that goofy jump/dance to squeeze in them? Ok so its time to get back into shape but you've got a kid or two running around what do you do? Personally I want the kids to be involved with me. SOMETIMES it isn't an option for most of us moms. I found the perfect video that combines action with the kids. Who doesn't want to utilize whats strapped to your hip already? A BABY!

Chicks-N-Chickens presents their Lullaby Exercises video to help bring you back into shape. This is definitely not your typical workout video. When you first receive your package you'll notice the adorable Chicks-N-Chickens logo stamped on the beautifully wrapped DVD/CD combo. I had a hard time opening it up. (no really I took a picture. It was just too precious. Somebody put some time in this packaging) It includes an audio CD of the original soundtrack by singer/songwriter Lisa Phenix. So you can not only workout but also use this in other rooms as well.

The 35-minute DVD features a high-energy “groove” set and then slows down to the “sleep” mode sure to soothe even the grumpiest little one to la laa land. One sleeping baby + one mom fully exercised = One happy momma. Chief chick Darcy Novo Albrecht knew what she was doing (and you can tell by watching her move) when she created this workout. With 26 years with gymnastics, aerobics, and cheerleading-including six years as a national instructor, choreographer, and judge for the National Cheerleaders Association. She has definitely a STRONG foundation to guide even my lazy butt into action! NOW to just get one of those sleek teal pouches they had in the video! hmmm!?!?

Speaking of the video your gonna love the titles of the "chapters" such as "chocolate = love" for the squats portion, or the stretch and relax which is all about mommy for holding baby all day long. I personally can say that even with a 2 1/2 year old I still find myself holding her way too much, not exercising enough, and not getting my children to exercise enough. Not anymore. I have the new found motivation to get my butt in gear. Thanks Chicks! ;-)
