    We read everynight to our son.From 1 to 4 stories.
    I think probably half an hour at least at night but we do read to our son off and on through out the day.

    well reading to your kids daily is the most important thing they'll learn by, I'd know I'd didn't learnt o learn to read till I'd was in 10th grade, so read, and read more it helps not only teaching them to read, but improves their spelling, and verbal skills! sign me up
