So you survived Spring Break with your little ones??? How in the world are you going to entertain them this summer??? LOL Why not expose them to the world of music? Give them a head start in math?? Begin learning the lifelong skill of playing the piano???
Piano for Preschoolers is an award-winning beginning piano curriculum designed for parents to teach their children, ages 4-8, (and themselves in the process) piano. The method is simple, straightforward and gives students immediate gratification by providing a song they can master at the end of each lesson. Piano for Preschoolers also offers 2 other song books that correspond to the Basic Course to give students more opportunities for practice!!! And they offer fantastically priced packages that include the Basic Course, extra songbook and a Casio Keyboard!
I've enjoyed using Piano for Preschoolers because of the quality of the program. Although a color coded guide is used, every song is written on the traditional musical staff, which means that the students are learning to READ music!! The lessons are fun, easy and can be repeated over and over until the student has mastered the skills and songs!
My daughter has been asking to learn the piano but private lessons seemed too expensive for a beginner. Piano for Preschoolers is economically providing her with the basic skills as well as an introduction to learning to play the piano to see if it is something she wants to pursue... which we hope she will!! Especially after how proud she was that she could play Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star after 2 sessions!
GET YOUR OWN! Piano for Preschoolers Basic Course is available for $39.99 (less than one month of private study)! It includes the Teacher Manual with 19 lessons, Song book, CD with the songs, and color-coded keyboard guide.
WIN YOUR OWN!! Angie at Piano for Preschoolers is generously giving the Piano for Preschoolers Basic Course on one lucky SIMPLE reader!! Go to Piano for Preschoolers and share in a comment what you have learned and who you will be teaching to play piano!!

ReplyDeleteChild Piano Lessons: The Benefits of Music Education for Children
With the help of a good teacher, most kids will do well on a standardized math test. Doing well on a standardized math test is not the same as understanding or mastering math. If kids are to compete in the high tech world, they need to be able to master difficult math concepts. Children who don't grasp these concepts at an early age risk getting left behind. Preschool music activities, such as beginner piano lessons, are important to early childhood brain development. By integrating music and math through preschool piano lessons, you can help your child be successful in school.
I would teach my daughter

I think if I had started learning how to play the piano a lot younger I would have probably stuck with it so when I read that it allows parents without any musical background to teach beginning musical concepts. I was excited to know that I can teach her and learn myself. I mean I know basics, but that's all!
ReplyDeleteI want ALL my kids to learn piano. Especially my son.
