ReplyDeleteMy husband has to have a glass of water by the bed. He never finishes it and I often find a second glass on the night stand. I will take whatever water is left and dump it in the dog dish. We are paying for it and I hate to dump it down the drain!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite "green" tip isthat vinegar will clean ANYTHING. Seriously, it will. Put a glass dish of vinegar in your microwave about 30 minutes before you clean it out. All the burnt on and splattered stains will come right off and it even disinfects the oven as you go!

I have this wonderful book that claims that you can clean your house for pennies a day. I have tried a lot of the hints and they really work. There is an added bonus. Most of the hints use only natural products that don't hurt the environment.
