Xeko - Be a (cute) Force of Nature

Did you know that Earth Day is right around the corner? Do you have plans to celebrate the day with your family? We typically head downtown, where the city throws a HUGE festival full of green goodies and and eco-friendly adventure.

Today, we're having fun getting the celebration started a bit early with our favorite soy stuffed endangered species - "Hairy the Lemur" from Xeko. Hairy is a hairy-eared dwarf lemur from Madagascar; he's is life-sized (these lemurs are about the size of a softball in real life).

Who's Hairy? Hairy is part of the online adventure world of Xeko, where it is your mission to make a difference and save the plants biodiversity. In the world of Xeko, children learn important ecological concepts in a fun, educational way. Each Xeko Pal comes with a Mission Code, which gives unlimited play of the that animals game at xeko.com.

GET YOUR OWN: (with a coupon): Xeko Pals and Official Xeko gear can be purchased online. Use coupon code: gogreen and receive %15 off your total purchase. Coupon is valid through 10/31/09.

WIN YOUR OWN: The folks at Xeko are throwing a huge Earth Day bash and want you to be a part of it. They are giving away one Xeko Pal ($16.95) to a lucky Simple reader. To be eligible, leave us a comment letting us know one "green" tip you practice in your home.

Winner will be selected at random and notified on Earth Day, April 22.
