The Rocking Pony is a shop on Etsy specializing in shirts that are as hip and funky as your kids are. No more will your little one have to wear the same store-brand generalness as every other kid on the block. Now your kid can be the cool one, and proudly wear something handmade just for him. There are so many designs to choose from that he's bound to find at least three that he loves.
As the owner of The Rocking Pony, I'm always on the lookout for new designs. I have an entire notebook full of fresh ideas, but it's never enough. Who's to say that my ideas are the best ones? Sometimes I like to get other opinions and input. Here's where you get involved.
I would love for you to leave a comment here on what you would like to see on a shirt. Be creative. Be fun. Be the voice for your kids. (*Disclaimer - I can't do licensed characters. They are licensed. This excluded Disney, Super Heroes, and other creations already created.) I'm so very curious to see what you come up with. And here's the best part - I will draw a winner next week and make the shirt of your choosing just for your little one. How fun will that be?!
I'm excited. Are you excited?
Buy Your Own: To check out the designs that I have already done, you can visit The Rocking Pony here. Feel free to make a wish list while you're there. ;)
Win Your Own: Comment here on what new and exciting design you want to see me create. I will draw one winner and make that shirt just for your little one!
Winner will be announced Wednesday, July 15. Go. Be creative. I'm waiting.

ReplyDeletealways been a big fan of your designs--you're way more creative than me. :)
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I can think of is doing a family grouping--don't know how well stick figures might translate into fabric and thread, but I thought it would be cute, kinda like those stickers people put on the back windows of their cars. But better, cuz their your designs. :)

ReplyDeleteMy grandson loves football, how about a football with the number 7 or the letter L incorporated in it.

My daughter, age 5, thinks she is a punk rock princess. I'd love to see a princess (black hair) with gown and tiara, wearing black motorcycle boots and holding a guitar! Or even just a crown that says "Princesses Rock" would do! Anything that combines rock-and-roll with her princess-ly desires.
ReplyDeleteJennifer, jennem22 at yahoo dot com
My son's middle name is Leaf and we have some leaf decor in his room. A leaf creature with eyes and limbs would be cute.

ReplyDeleteThanks!
I have a couple of ideas for my daughter. I saw that you have musical instruments but maybe music notes on a shirt? She loves to dance (16 months old). Other ideas I like are flip flops because it's summery or purses on shirt because she carries around her little purses. I think I would pick the purse idea for a shirt for my daughter.
ReplyDeletefreakfaceone@yahoo.com

ReplyDeleteHey Karen - I love your delightful creations and your splendid sense of humor and design!
ReplyDeleteI happen to love all variations and interpretations of CATS. But I also love a-musing (as in touch with the "muses") "mean faces".
Someone (who used to live here) place a typical, boring, "Beware of Dog" sign that seems to be un-removable, so we want to cover it up with a funky but fierce rendition of some kind of "wild" looking animal/critter with a tag line that says
"WARNING! Trespassers will be EATEN!"
You would be my daughter's hero if you could make a shirt with a princess or unicorn on it! :) Her shirt size is 5T. Thanks! macd82 at gmail dot com

ReplyDeleteSince your clothing is for tots and my daughter just turned 2, I think it would be cute to do a "terrible 2s" shirt either with the number 2 turning into something crazy/wild or some funny monster saying "terrible twos".
