Visit the Land of Nod this Holiday Season

I was lucky enough to visit a Land of Nod store this Summer. I say "lucky enough" because there are only like 5 brick & mortar stores in the country. If you live in the Illinois/Chicago area - I envy you dearly.

When I was there earlier this year, it was hard to stay focused. My eyes kept wandering to the next beautiful toy; my head was spinning trying to come up with some reasonable explanation for my husband as to why I was coming home with the most amazing stroller on the planet; the Stokke Xplory Stroller (it's only $1,999.99 and worth every penny).

Needless to say, I didn't come home with the most amazing Stokke Xplory Stroller, but I did come away with some really great affordable gift ideas for the holidays. And when you shop afforably at Land of Nod, you are still getting incredibly high quality toys that will last!

One of my favorite toy Land of Nod has is their Rolling Sorter ($21.95). My 2 year old daughter loves matching the colorful shapes to their appropriate holes. As a parent, I love it because it's made out of natural, chemical free rubber wood. Go ahead - play with it, suck on it (ok, not really), it's totally safe!
