Tasty Brand - Organic Fruit Snacks

I pack my daughter a lunch 3 days a week for preschool. She's not too picky what goes in the sack, luckily she'll eat almost anything I pack. She only has one prerequisite: I need to pack a pouch of "gummies" aka fruit snacks in every lunch. I guess you could call it her guilty pleasure.

Tasty Brand Organic Fruit Snacks are where it's at when it comes to a healthy alternative to a typically not so healthy sugary snack.

Last night, my whole family put them to the taste test. Of course my girls loved them. But the true test came from my husband, who will tell you what he really thinks. His response? The best "gummies" he has ever tasted, although I don't need to pack them in his lunch :) Which means the passed with FLYING COLORS!

Tasty Fruit snacks are a fantastic choice when it comes to healthy snacks for both kids and adults on the go; particularly those on special diets. A few tasty tidbits:
  • certified organic
  • made with real fruit juice
  • vegan
  • gluten free
  • fat free & cholesterol free
  • only 70 calories per pouch
  • made with NO high-fructose corn syrup

As you can see, these fruit snacks are more than just tasty. They just might been down right good for the body.

GET YOUR OWN! Tasty Brand fruit snacks area available at many major retailers across the country, or you can purchase them online at retailers such as Amazon.

WIN IT! We're giving away a case (6 packs) of the Tasty Brand Organic Fruit Snacks ($20) to one lucky Simple reader. To enter, simply visit Tasty Baby, come back here and leave us a comment with something you've learned about them.

For additional entries: (comment once for each entry)
Winner will be chosen randomly and notified January 19, 2010.

  4. They are really involved in their community. Supporting national and local events. It looks like they would be a great company to work for! I think these look like a great choice in fruit snacks! My son eats a pack a day, and this looks so much healthier than the kind I get at Sams. Thanks!

  84. All of our infant cereals use a DHA derived from algae – no fish involved! This means that our infant cereals are totally vegetarian. Even more, the algae is harvested in an FDA inspected facility and does not carry any of the risks for ocean-born pollutants that fish can. The brand of DHA is called Life’s DHA and is currently the only DHA that is FDA approved for use in U.S. infant formulas
