Accessorizing with Katelyn & Co.

I never thought I'd be that mom who made her little girls wear frilly clothes and bows in their hair. But I will freely admit I am that mom. Mostly because my oldest loves wearing frilly clothes and bows, and partially because I just love how cute they look wearing it all.

I came across Katelyn & Co. while looking for pettiskirts for my girls and I am so glad that I found them! Besides for offering completely adorable and trendy hand made accessories, Katelyn & Co. is a wonderful success story of a mom starting her own business!

When looking out new clothes and accessories I always make my girls try things on. They are both tall and slim and frequently we have problems finding things that fit them properly, this is especially a problem with sizes by age range (12-24 months is quite a gap). This was not a problem with our new Katelyn & Co. pettiskirt because it has adjustable tabs!!! A pettiskirt with adjustable tabs!?! Yep, adjustable tabs. Pretty smart if you ask me. :)

My youngest daughter, Dani, looked adorable wearing her Katelyn & Co. Hot Pink & Lt. Pink Chiffon Pettiskirt! I just used the adjustable tabs to make the pettiskirt small enough to fit her now, knowing that there is plenty of room for her to grow. Her matching Pink Toddler Interchangeable Nylon Headband with the French Pink Ruffle Flower clip are also from Katelyn & Co. I love that the headband is interchangeable because I can use most of the other aligator clip styled bows and flowers I have already with it too.

Not to be forgotten, big sister Michaela, got her very own Shocking Pink Interchangeable Flower Hat with a Pink & Turquoise Flower Set (yes, that is the face she makes when I ask for a smile). The hat is another big hit around here and is one of the few hats she will actually leave on her head. The hat has a small button sewn onto it and the flowers have the coordinating button hole in the middle making it easy to change out the flower color of choice.
