A few weeks ago I was given the opportunity to try out Mega Bloks Thomas & Friends Sodor Search and Rescue. Even though 3 year old Michaela had no idea who Thomas was, I knew she'd love playing with this fun Mega Bloks building set.I love that what I had originally assumed was just the building platform actually doubles as a storage container (and all the pieces really do fit!). Plus, the working pieces like the crane, doors and even Thomas make pretend time all that more interesting for my little one.
It's good to note that the recommend age of 3 and up is very accurate due to some small pieces and that Thomas and Harold are buildable characters. There was about 10 seconds of extreme sadness on behalf of Michaela the first time Thomas and Harold got knocked to the floor broke off into their many pieces.
