Sandra Boynton's gone techy!

I was introduced to this new "app" for the iPhone and the iPad recently, and in a nut shell, I think it's fantastic! We are huge Sandra Boynton fans over here. The books she writes are silly and fun and the kids just love them. The app is The Going to Bed Book ebook app. Here are some of the key things that I think are fabulous:

• I love how the words light up as the narrator reads along.
• It's very cute how the kids can interact with the book.
• When they click on the animals in the story, some of them do very cute things. Like the kitten purrs...and pig squeaks...etc.
• When they click on a word, it repeats the word
• If it sits too long, it just turns off. Great for battery power.

For those of you with a device that allows children to play with it, this is a great addition. My kids really do like it a lot. Even little Adalynn. She just laughs and laughs when she gets the animals to do funny things.
