I worry when we get into crowds that she will get lost in the shuffle, and my heart rate skyrockets when we have to cross a busy street. I understand she wants to walk on her own, as she gains her independence, but oh, this mommy is just not ready to let go completely.
The tag *a* long handle is a perfect solution that makes it's easy for your little walkers to hold on tight, and stay with the pack.
What it is, is a weather-proof, plastic handle (that comes in 4 fun colors) that easily attaches to anything you want your preschooler to hold on to. Attaches in seconds to:
- Stroller
- Mom's shoulder bag
- grocery cart
- Rolling luggage
Personally, I love it, and my daughter thinks it's pretty fun as well. When I tell her to hold on, she knows right to grab.
tag*a*long :: $9.99 :: One of the best things about the tag *a* long is that it's super affordable. At only $9.99, I might need to get a few, and pass them out to friends.

This is awesome! I am always telling my now 4 yr old to hold onto the stroller and the lil bro doesn't like it when he does so this is the perfect solution :)

This is fabulous! I was thinking of coming with something like this on my own, but if I could win one that would save me some creative work. ;) I would love to have something consistent for my 3 year old son to cling to (when my hands aren't available), whether it's tethering him to a cart or a stroller. Fabulous idea.

My daughter would be using this! I always have to ask her to hold on to the car seat or brothers toy that's handing on the car seat bar.
ReplyDeleteWhy has no one told me about this! I would love to have one for my three year old. He likes a hand, but usually mine are full with his 4 month old baby sister, groceries, or who knows what?!

ReplyDeleteThis is a genius idea. When almost 2 year old refuses to ride in the stroller, she could hold onto this while I steer the stroller. It'd be great for trips to the mall & the summer fair!

This would be perfect for my daughter- she never wants to hold hands, but tend to stray if she's not. I think this would be a great solution for both of us :)

i'd use w/ my little guy when running errands

I would use it for both my kiddos! I made one out of fabric but I love that this is plastic so it can stay out in the elements if needed. We would use it just about anywhere!
ReplyDeleteI have 3 under 3 (for 5 more days :( ) and would love something like this for my oldest. I have tried the harness backpacks and will use them if I absolutely have to but it does take away from her sense of independence!

Although my son isn't walking yet, I know we're going to be chasing after him! I'd save it for the future with him :) I can see this being very useful in the grocery store!

ReplyDeleteMy 1.5 yr old daughter would love this. She likes to be independent like other older kids in school so she no longer likes to hold mommy's hand when walking outside. I would use this to encourage her to hold onto her lunch tote when we walk out of the school every day.

We're having #2 this summer, so this would be great for my son. We'd likely use it at the grocery store or when we any time we go on outdoor adventures!

First of all: GENIUS!
ReplyDeleteI would be using this with my 3 1/2 year old daughter when she insists on walking instead of riding in the double stroller with my 9 month old son. We take the stroller to the mall, to the park, to the local petting zoo, the Cincinnati Zoo and in October when we go to Florida to visit my parents when we go to Disney!
