Affresh :: Stainless Steel Cleaner

We designed and built our home almost 8 years ago, before we had kids. As an interior designer, it was a non-negoitable that we were going to get stainless steel appliance. Stainless Steel goes with anything, looks classic, and just makes the kitchen feel clean. I mean, it's the best! Right?

Know what doesn't "feel" clean? 30 little sticky fingers. Yep, I have 3 (soon to be 4) children. I love my kids dearly, but whoa baby do they know how to trash a kitchen! Fingerprints on the dishwasher. Smudgy face marks on the oven, peering in to see if the brownies are done yet. And of course, the refrigerator has tiny little finger marks all up and down the door because my kids love to get their own snacks.

Keeping the stainless steel clean in my kitchen will be a never ending battle. But alas, a battle I will fight, and am determined to win.

In my never ending quest for streak-less and fingerprint-less surfaces, I've enlisted an all new cleaning agent, Affresh by the Whirpool Corporation.

 I've been using it for a couple weeks now, and really like it for a few reasons.
  • The solution is water based, and doesn't smell harsh.
  • It leaves a streak free finish, which has been hard to find in the past.
  • Results that last. I'm using Affresh about once a week, and it really stands up to all the fingerprints and smudges my kids throw it them.
I know it's only been two weeks, but so far I'm a believer.
