chaos simplified :: the womans planner {giveaway}


I am a list maker. I think this is actually a category of people. You know -- free spirits, athletes, tall people, list makers... In my constant quest to check things off my list I am always looking for the best way to keep my lists and schedule organized. I have used index cards (they easily get lost or mixed up), empty spiral notebooks (a lot of energy to create your own calendar) and any number of store bought planners. The biggest issue I have with store bought planners is that they don't really align with my life.


Well, I can FINALLY put a giant check in the box next to "find perfect planner." The Womans Planner from Chaos Simplified was designed with active women and moms in mind. Really, it was designed by a mom who couldn't find a planner that met all of her needs -- so she made her own. And I am glad she did.

    I personally love the fact that this planner has the "Your 'weekly view' is always on top each month and the 'month view' is always on the bottom" because with my past planners, I was always flipping between the monthly view to the weekly view to plan out events. Thanks for the chance :)

    It has a section called "Household Appliance Tracking" and I am keenly interested in that. We're starting out with new appliances in our new house soon, and I think it could be really helpful to keep track of things like that! Nifty idea.

    An interesting thing that I learned about the Woman’s Planner is that it is made from paper and ink that is biodegradable and environmentally friendly. That’s just another really cool feature of a really cool item. Thanks for the giveaway.

    I found out about the recycling program with Canon where the plastic cartridges go back for refilling. Zero waste from toner cartridges in the environment. That is cool.

    I like that the planner divides the financial page into variable and fixed expenses (most just do fixed that I've seen), and the fact that it divides it into pay periods! :)

    I learned that this planner's paper is FSC (Forrest Stewardship Council Certified). That means it measures up to the highest standard of the industry that not only deals with harvesting, but also the processing and delivery in an environmentally responsible manner. And the black and white toner is made from metal filings not silicone or wax base.     Both the planners offered sound awesome. The girl planner sounds perfect too. I love how it has a pocket for every month and a notes section! I wouldn't need to carry two books around! I also liked Simple on FB and subscribed to emails. Thanks!

    I love the Woman's Planner - if nothing else the aesthetic look of it is so much more fun and easy to drool over than a lot of the mainstream planners! I LOVE planners and this is looking like a must for me!
