The instructions were excellent, and their site also offers a handy install video for those that are visual learners. I had no trouble whatsoever applying mine to my wall.With textured walls, they suggest going with a semi-gloss color, and really taking your time with installation to make sure the wall decal is adhering well to the wall. It's important for all of the decal to get into the texture, so after the initial install, they recommend working the decal into the texture with your finger. This is something I had to do because my walls have a hint of texture, but not much. I think it's going to work out just fine; but I do think smooth walls would be your best bet! Wall decals are the perfect way to personalize any space, but I really think they would be awesome for dorms, and for apartments or rental properties that don't allow tenants to paint!

ReplyDeleteI just installed the cherry blossom tree to the previously ugly mirrored walls in my rental. It's a shame we can't post pics here, because it looks FABULOUS. If you are patient and take your time, you will be thrilled with the results. This transformed my dining room.
