Swim Ways Fish Kicks

My kids are like fish. Give them water, and they're happily splashing around in it. Unfortunately, they're not born knowing how to swim, and until they learn I'm a little antsy with them around deeper water. (Deeper: anything over their knee caps.)

We do have one of those wonderful pools that you can inflate the top ring and then fill with water (read: fill as deep as you need to) and the whole family loves it. As the summer progresses and the kids skills get better, the pool gets deeper. And this is where Swim Ways has come in to help. Swim Ways Swim Steps helps young or emergent swimmers learn the ropes. They start with a wonderful life vest to keep all kids afloat, and move on to lesser and lesser help, thus enabling the kids to learn progressively.

Swim Ways was super generous in giving me a Fish Kicks Float Board to try. The first thing that I loved about it is the wiggly eye on the fish. Swim Ways takes an everyday object and makes it super fun for the kids. My kids loved splashing around behind this fun fish, and it gave my youngest a wee bit more confidence in his staying-afloat abilities. He now can kick to his heart's content, knowing that he won't go down.

Each SwimWays Swim Step™ product is specially designed and subject to high standards of quality testing. While nothing can replace the love and supervision of a parent, the Swim Steps program offers products for all skill levels, making it easy for parents to build confidence in their children.

I love that SwimWays is dedicated to helping all children smile both in and out of the water. That is why 2% of all Swim Steps wholesale sales are donated to Operation Smile, fixing facial deformities for children around the world.

Buy Your Own: You can purchase any of the Swim Ways products at SwimWays.com or TeachMetoSwim.com (love the URL). Their products are all listed there so that you can choose the step(s) that your kids are at.
