*Maukilo* Buy Once, Play Forever

With the holidays quickly approaching, it's time to start thinking about what's going to end up under the tree for our kiddos. I know that I'm so over getting the latest and greatest battery operated piece of junky plastic. This year, it's all about quality and longevity.

An amazing e-commerce site has caught our eye as a one-stop online shop for high quality toys that are worth our hard earned dollar. Maukilo features some of our favorite toy brands (many of which we've reviewed here before on Simple) such as HABA, Bilibo, Calafant, Bla Bla and Plan Toys - just to name a few.

What we love about Maukilo is that all the toys being sold on this site can be thoroughly trusted as a good choice. Not only are all the toys Maukilo offer really high quality - they are safe as well.

From the Maukilo website:

"The Wooden toys we sell are finished with natural, non-toxic, water based and saliva-resistant lacquers and are absolutely safe. They are stained, not painted, so you can still see and feel the beauty and warmth of the wood grain.

The plastic toys we offer are made of the highest quality, child safe, shatter resistant and PVC free materials.

All toys are made to last and are, of course, absolutely non-toxic and batttery-free! "

We've been loving the BlaBla Anemone Mermaid Knit Doll ($33.99) that we got from Maukilo. What makes her so special? She's hand knit by Peruvians with 100% natural cotton and non-toxic dyes. Oh, and she's super cute too.

So if you want to get your kids some toys they will actually play with after the wrapping paper is gone, feel good about shopping Maukilo.

WIN IT YOURSELF! We have a $25 gift certificate to jump start one lucky Simple readers holiday shopping. To enter, visit Maukilo and tell us what you would use the gift certificate towards.
