Uncle Ben's Whole Grain (white) Rice

Got picky eaters sitting around your dinner table?  Good!  Me too!

My 5 year old eats like a champ, but her pint-sized 2 year old sister gives me a challege almost daily when it comes to mealtime.  While we are healthy eaters over here, she would prefer to munch on cracker, gummy snacks and ice cream three times daily.  I guess you could say she eat's like a kid.

Uncle Ben's has been making rice for I don't know, forver (actually about 60 years). So while they've been taking up real-estate in our pantries now for generations, their still making tasty, new (nutritious) variteies of rice for even the pickiest of people.

We recently test drove a box of Uncle Ben's Whole Grain White Rice at our dinner table a few days ago.  I whipped up one of the super easy recipes I found on their website, Broccoli Orange Stir-Fry. And guess what?  It was a hit (considering that my 2 year old ate the rice and oranges only, picking out the broccoli, of course)!  (and oh, I wish I could show you a picture, but we kinda ate it too fast)

What makes this rice so special and different?  It looks and taste like standard white rice, but has all the healty benifits of a whole grain.

Give it a try!  Your kids probably won't even realize the health food on their plate!
