Grease - The Official Video Game

A few years back we got a Wii gaming system with the intent of spending some quality family time indoors during the cooler winter months.  Since then, we've collected quite a few different games that can be enjoyed by our whole family.

Recently I was asked if my family would like to test out the newly released game from 505 Games, Grease.  I jumped at the chance, since I basically I grew up watching the movie (and not to toot my own horn, but I just might know all the words to every song on the soundtrack).

The game, available both for Wii and DS, basically consist of singing, dancing and lots of fun little mini games.

You can sing along to any one of the official Grease songs.  If you have a Wii Balance Board , you can test your skill at doing the Hand Jive.  And probably the most fun, participating in mini games, with your favorite Grease characters such as Danny, Sandy, The Pink Ladies and the T-Birds.  The game can be played in two different modes, "party" and "story".
My opinion?  This game is fun for the younger crowd. The graphics are simple, and the game is fairly elementary.   I think it would be perfect for the pre-teen age group and would make a fun edition to any slumber party.

GET IT YOURSELF!  Grease, The Official Video Game ($39.99) is available anywhere games are sold, or visit Amazon to pick it up online.
