To help you get in the Fall mood...

Halloween is fast approaching, can you believe it. How fast is time flying!! Warner Home Video has released two titles in September that will help bring you into the Fall/Halloween season.

Warner Home Video celebrates Halloween with classic Peanuts and Looney Tunes television specials available since September

"It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, the beloved classic sees it's first ever release on Blu-ray (for the first time!) DVD in a combo pack that includes both a Blu-ray AND standard edition of the special." Everyone can now enjoy this classic like never before due to it being on Blu-ray with "beautiful high definition an improved audio." And not to forget to mention, there are special features on this disc as well! Here is a summary of this episode if you haven't seen it before:

It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown finds the Peanuts gang outfitted in spooky costumes, ready for trick or treating and crashing Violet’s Halloween party. Charlie Brown is in a ghost costume (with more eyeholes cut out than needed), Lucy is dressed as a witch and Snoopy is in a World War I flying ace costume. Linus however, decides to steadfastly hold vigil in the pumpkin patch to await the Great Pumpkin with Sally by his side. Will this be the year the Great Pumpkin finally makes an appearance? Linus is convinced that he will.

Also available is Bugs Bunny's Howl-Oween Special, which features a star-studded line-up of popular Looney Tunes characters. this one is just perfect for this Halloween season! Here is a little about it:

Kids and adults will delight in this wonderful tale that finds that “wascally wabbit,” Bugs Bunny making holiday rounds dressed as a witch. Witch Hazel however, thinks Bugs is a real witch who has come to intrude on her home turf and makes plans to eliminate him. Joining Bugs Bunny are his popular pals including Daffy Duck, Porky Pig and Speedy Gonzales. When Bugs and his buddies tangle with Witch Hazel’s wacky magic, they are zapped into a mixed-up menagerie of oddball monsters.

Again, don't forget about the special features on here as well!
Both titles are geared toward kids ages six and up however my 4 year old did have a good time watching it...I just had to reinforce to her that being mean to Linus (in the Peanut's movie) is not very nice! :)

GET YOUR OWN! You can pick up your own copy of either of these DVD's anywhere you purchase other DVD's, like Target, Wal-Mart or Amazon...and you can even purchase them right through the Warner Brother's Shop!
