We are always open to suggestions for good, upbeat, kid-friendly music.  With songs like "Big Kite", "Boots," "Hi 5 Dance," and "Let's Go!" the newest CD from the Flannery Brothers, The New Explorers Club, is a great addition to our music library!

We are just becoming acquainted with the Flannery Brothers here, but they are far from being the new kids on the block in the music world.  Their first two albums already made them the "winners of thirteen prestigious awards, including a Parents' Choice® Silver Honor Award and the Lennon Award for Best Children's Song in the 2008 John Lennon Songwriting Contest."

The Flannery Brothers have quite a few influences for their music and you can tell this in the wide range of song styles on the CD.  With everything from a reggae number titled "Kitchen Floor" (my personal favorite, because sometimes "I want to lie down on the kitchen floor" as well) to the boogie woogie styled "Swallowed A Bug," there is plenty of variety for the whole family.
