When I began to potty train Taite almost a month ago, I quickly realized the need for a belt.
Taite has one of the smallest waist I have ever seen on a baby his age. Most kids his age have the chubby bellies? Not Taite... He is what I like to call very trim and lean.
Because of this most pants are to big on him.
Take a chunky cloth diaper off him and put small undies... pants DO NOT stay up.
I then discovered these loop2loop belts one day while breezing through Etsy... and fell in love with the concept.
Loop2Loop's are different than your traditional childs belt. It doesnt have those annoying tiny holes that you have to fasten with the needle buckle thing (not sure what to call it). It also doesn't require taking off to take a child potty.
Taite has to use the potty frequently and to take a belt off and on constantly is hard work! With the Loop2Loops you can just slide the pants down. The back of the belt has elastic so it is easily stretched to pull off the childs hip.
Buy It: Loop2Loop comes in all sorts of fun colors. I find its nice having atleast TWO options. This way you have a back up in case one is lost.. as well as more color options for different outfits.
A Simple Coupon: Right now Loop2Loop is offering 1 cent shipping on all orders! (Only good through Dec 20th)
Win It: We get to giveaway TWO Loop2Loops (remember I said you'll want 2!) In order to enter simply comment, let us know your favorite color option over at Loop2Loop. List atleast two colors because those will be the colors you get if you win. Also list what size you would need. The sizing information is located on Loop2Loop's site.
Double Entry? Blog about us as well as link to Loop 2 Loop. Come back leaving us a direct link to your post.
(Taite looks sad in the photo.. but he really does love his belts!)
This would have come in handy for Bubbie. Goodness...he has a small waste. This would be super fantastic to have for Peanut. I like the Fire Engine Red and the Not So Old Navy. I would probably get size A.

ReplyDeleteawilmeri@hotmail.com
the carnation pink and gumball purple would be great in size A.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I have the same exact problem with my son! He is very tall and very trim. His waist would fit in a 2t pant, but sometimes I have to buy 3t or 4t and they are just falling off. Add to that the change from diapers to underwear and it's crazy. Thanks for posting this review. I would go for Olive/black and blue/white, and I have no idea on the size. Maybe one of each? Ack I should go measure him maybe.
ReplyDeleteMy son has quite the small waist too! I made a couple belts but he has since grown out of them.
ReplyDeleteI'd love the Safari Tan and Not-so-Old-Navy in size A.
Thank!
