For my sons 5th birthday his Nana (my mom) got him the coolest book! My mom is a librarian so she comes across all these wonderful books on a daily basis. Im always amazed at what she discovers.
This book was so neat that I decided to showcase it on simple.
Its a POP up book all about Dinosaurs. Its by Robert Sabuda & Matthew Reinhart.
The pop up detail is just amazing. It also gives all sorts of neat information on Dinosaurs that your little boys will enjoy reading about with you. Although I do not agree with some of the information (like dinosaurs being 200 million years old hehe) but I can skip over those parts if I want.
The book over all is wonderfully made and really fun for kids imagination.

NOTE OF CAUTION: As a mom of a pretty active 5 yr old and 2 yr old... I will go ahead and warn you moms ... this book is not made for smaller kids or heavy handed children. Caleb is very careful with items like this so I trust him... but he has been warned not to leave it in a spot his little brother can get to. So do not get this for kids under age 5 or those who like to RIP pages :)

ReplyDeleteChristopher is really starting to get into dinosaurs, too!! But he still like to rip books.... I'll have to keep that book in mind:)
