Old MacDonald, Had an App... By Duck Duck Moose

For the most part, my iPod Touch is for my fingers only. I've got my favorite pictures stored, all my contacts are just a touch away, and exactly 2,015 of my favorite songs safely stored for my listening pleasure.

I have only a few apps downloaded for my children. I use these electronic activities sparingly when we're waiting in a doctors office, trying to be patient while our food is being prepared at a restaurant, and on long card rides when the boredom sets in.

Currently, our favorite kid app is an app by the brilliant folks over at Duck, Duck, Moose called Old MacDonald.

Basically, the app is 12 fun and interactive pages of beautiful graphics set to (you guessed it) Old MacDonald music.

Every page can be simply manipulated with just a touch of a tiny finger. Your child can sheer a sheep, feed the dog, pet the cat and play with the bird. Overall, 35 interactive activities for your child to explore. The graphics are high quality and really fun to play with.

The music can be sung in 5 different languages (English, Spanish, French, German, and Italian) and accompanied with several different instruments (violin, cello, piano and kazoo)

We're loving this app and give it two big thumbs up. And for only $1.99, it's worth every penny.

BUY IT NOW! Old MacDonald by Duck, Duck Moose can be purchased on Itunes for $1.99.
