One of the things that I love about the Necklace Nanny is that it also limits the "toy stealing" that happens when I am out with my girls! They love to take each other's toys, and with the Necklace Nanny, the toys stay put and no one ends up in tears, especially me

With 3 little ones...I always have shopping challenges...most often it's "how to even go shopping"!!! I love to borrow books from the store for my kids to look at while I am shopping and then we trade them in for a treat from the cashier (this is usually something I have already picked out...fruit or a special box of cereal or something) -- or on extra special days, they can keep the book! Would love to win the necklace nanny too!!!
ReplyDeleteI have 1 who just turned 3 and 1 who is almost 2, plus I'm pregnant with our 3rd. It's impossible to get much shopping done with them. They both want to walk through the store, but not stay with me. I usually try to go at night when Dad can keep them at home. They have broken nail polish, eggs, chewed up boxes and smooshed crackers, it's like going with animals!

When I go shopping with my niece she always wants to run off and wander the second I look at something.

I'm a mom of 3 one of which is special needs(pdd-nos autism) so going shopping can be quiet a juggling act. I'm always carting a diaper bag full of clutch toys for my son with autism and my youngest(my daughter) omg she is my "if you put me down you will never be able to catch me" type of child. She is deffinitely a runner and a serial "toucher, grab it and run...." type of child so she spends a bit of time in the shopping cart or stroller when we shop for the sake of my sanity. She loves to play fetch with me tho. The classic game of I'm bored of being in the cart bored of the toy you keep handing me so I'm gonna throw it down and you fetch it for me over and over and over and we will play this till you get hip to my game and say "no more!!" Then I will scream at you mommy and I will cry at the top of my lungs and everyone shopping will stair at you.....so that is how my shopping trips normally go. Eeeee fun lol.

In all 100% honesty, I have not ever had shopping challenges with my child.
ReplyDeleteBut my sister in law (who would get this as a gift from me) has three children 2 and under, and she has a lot of trouble taking them all to the store because of course nobody makes a cart that fits a carseat and two toddlers plus groceries. And keeping all three happy if she does manage to take them out? Yeah, that's the next trick. ;)

Going to the grocery store has definitey been a challenge the last eight months. Why, you ask? Well, we have two girls 2 and under. And you guessed it - our youngest is 8 months old. Our oldest, the two year old runs away and will not stay with us to save her life! AHHH! So...needless to say our biggest challenge is keeping both girls with us at the same time. I just hope it will get easier as they get older!

The greatest challenge is how to grocery shop w/ the baby in the infant seat (which won't perch on the front) and a toddler and still have room for the groceries!

my greatest shopping challenge is that there's 3 of them and 1 of me... One in a sling, one in a cart seat-pitching things-and one that I'm trying to hold hands with while pushing a cart, trying to remember what I came in for and trying to keep everyone happy. UGH!

The challenge would be not having enough hands to grab toys and little hands!

My greatest shopping challenge when going out with the kids is making sure you have everything you'll need. Something always seems to get left at home--and it's the one thing you need! Thank you for the giveaway!

my biggest shopping challenge with my two girls is that my three year old would grab everything off the racks and my oldest would ask me if we can get her this or that.

My greatest challenge comes from trying to keep my 3 year old with me when shopping. Now that baby brother takes up the "kiddie" seat in the car, she walks next to me. But, we've hit that point where EVERYTHING gets her attention and she wants to run. My sweet little angel has turned in to that child that I always SWORE I'd never have!
